Kid's Blanket Vest Pattern

Regular price $14.00 USD

Do you have scraps from a blanket coat that you made and don’t want to throw them out but not big enough to make an adult size something? Well I have finally made a tiny kid vest! Can be matchy matchy or made for a gift to your favorite kid! This is seriously so freaking cute!!!

The pattern beyond beginner friendly! I actually feel like if you’re wanting to get into sewing, this might be the best introduction because you don’t need to use a sewing machine and it’s a small project to get started.

The video tutorial is made from blanket scraps and hand sewn with a blanket stitch, but you can also make with other fabric and sewn with a machine. I’d just use bias tape for the edges vs the blanket stitch since there’s no seam allowance.

What you’ll get is digital download to print at home on A4 or Letter sized paper that you tape together, size chart and video tutorial.
Then you'll need:
– scraps from a thick wool fabric ~ .5 meters
– thick yarn (I love the classic Caron)
– darner needle (John James Long Darners size ⅕)
– 1.5 meters of ribbon or a long shoe lace :)
